151- Iranian touch screen that converts digital data into Braille

The Iranian researchers at Yazd Science and Technology Park have built a device that converts digital data into Braille so that the visually impaired can have easier access to them. This system has the ability to convert digital data into Braille line by line, while the computers used by the visually impaired are not capable of line-by-line conversion. In fact, this system allows for a quicker and highly accurate reading. Moreover, the price of this Iranian device is one tenth of the foreign sample.
This system converts digital information into Braille line by line; in this device, Braille characters are placed on a circular-linear path that moves under the hand of the user who is sitting still and can be read by touch.
